The neighbourhood children use the Dead Man for target practice and laugh when he threatens to shoot back – he, after all, is the dead one.

I’m pleased to be able to report that my poem The Dead Man’s Unpaid Debt has been published in the October 2020 edition of RIC Journal.
This piece continues the Dead Man project, which has also, over time, become a RIC project – actually, I don’t know that any other publication has published any Dead Man…
Anyway, because it is also a RIC project, it means that regardless of how much – or little – I’m writing in a month, I am obliged to track the path of the Dead Man. Seeing where he ends up, and how, the mischief he makes, the lies he tells, is always a delight. For this I am very thankful to S.
My poem Untitled (Daydream of the Dead Man) has been published in the September 2020 edition of the extraordinary RIC Journal. The Dead Man feeds stray cats and daydreams about escaping all of this – like the rest of us.

My piece The Dead Man’s Gun has been published in the May 2020 edition of the ever-mysterious RIC Journal.
The Dead Man shifts and shakes based on mood or the position of the stars – I’m never sure where I will find him or where he will end up, especially in the era of the virus. It is always a thrill to have his deeds and wanderings appear in RIC – thanks to Saudamini, as always.
Very happy to be able to write that my second suite of Dead Man poems has been published by RIC in their December 2019 edition. It’s always a thrill to see my writing in RIC Journal, and it’s especially gratifying to see the Dead Man, who RIC have been so supportive of, continuing to see in their pages.

Pleased to say that my poem Untitled (Sundown rewrite) has been published in the November 2019 edition of RIC Journal. Had more thoughts on the Sundown piece – also published in RIC, in December last year – probably wrote that around the same time of year I wrote this one – maybe it’s the light – hence the rewrite. I like this one.
