Very pleased to say some of my Dead Man poems have been published in the September 2019 issue of the ever-unorthodox RIC.
In this set, the Dead Man considers his options, regrets his recklessness and shares his wisdom. Crossing fingers that more on the Dead Man is to come…
Thanks as always to Saudamini for giving me the time and space and support to write. Especially in light of the fact that the “Related” portion of the page on RIC looks like this:
Very pleased to report that my poem Untitled (In wait for an eclipse) has been published by RIC Journal.
Started this with the image of people in the street staring up at the sky and coupled that with Boumahra Ahmed, a town on the Oued Syebouse in Algeria. Boumahra Ahmed appeared in my iPhone’s weather app one day.
With special thanks, as always, to S.
P.S. Bonus dream.
My poem Send Flowers to Rhodes Greece has been published in the June 2019 issue of RIC. It’s always, always a pleasure to have my work find a home in the Jaipur-Paris-(!)-based journal.
With thanks as usual to my impossible friend, S.
Very pleased to have a short story titled ‘To Sing’ in We’ll Never Have Paris, a collection of writing on Paris edited by Andrew Gallix.
The collection includes some of my favourite writers, some talented folk I’ve worked with, and some friends, including Max Porter, Chris Power, Joanna Walsh, Eley Williams, Tom McCarthy, Susan Tomaselli, David Hayden, Daniela Cascella, Evan Lavender-Smith and many more. Needless to say, it’s a thrill to be a part of it.
Big thanks to Andrew for the call-up and opportunity.
It is my pleasure to have three poems published in the April 2019 edition of the remarkable RIC Journal.
Pleased to be sharing website space with Daniel Fraser and Naveen Kishore and echoes of Jaipur at 6.31pm, among others.
With thanks as usual to the magnanimous and wise Saudamini.
I have a piece in the February 2019 edition of RIC Journal titled Rhinoceros Dream.
It’s always a thrill to be published in the uncanny RIC. I’m deeply thankful and forever indebted to the super talented Saudamini for the encouragement, support and friendship.
I have a piece in the January 2019 edition of RIC Journal titled Poem for the Dead Man.
Thought I could leave the dead man behind… This could only have been published by RIC.
I’m deeply thankful to S – as usual.
