  • On ‘Untitled (In wait for an eclipse)’

    Very pleased to report that my poem Untitled (In wait for an eclipse) has been published by RIC Journal. Started this with the image of people in the street staring up at the sky and coupled that with Boumahra Ahmed, a town on the Oued Syebouse in Algeria. Boumahra Ahmed appeared in my iPhone’s weather app Read.

    Very pleased to have a short story titled ‘To Sing’ in We’ll Never Have Paris, a collection of writing on Paris edited by Andrew Gallix. The collection includes some of my favourite writers, some talented folk I’ve worked with, and some friends, including Max Porter, Chris Power, Joanna Walsh, Eley Williams, Tom McCarthy, Susan Tomaselli, Read.

  • On the occasion of the announcement of the forthcoming publication of Letter to the Author of the Letter to the Father

    I have a book coming out. That’s a sentence I’ve wanted to be able to write for, I don’t know, over a decade now, but, before March this year, wasn’t something I thought I’d be able to say seriously any time soon – if ever.   • On ‘Stone Fur Skin Fish Blood’

    Delighted to have a new piece of fiction titled Stone Fur Skin Fish Blood up at Fluland. It’s also been added to the Featured section on the site! The idea for this piece – a palmful of fragments coughed up by the subconscious – came to me at 4am while staying at a friend’s house in Read.
